Great blend of humor and drama, with a fun music theme woven in.
I haven't enjoyed a book this much in a long time. It was funny, smart and well-written. I kind of didn't want it to end. Definitely worth checking out.
I love this book. The characters are so real and relatable, you find yourself sucked in to every move they make. Its classified under "gay and lesbian literature" but really that's just one of the story lines. Anyone's who had a moment of self doubt or struggled in a relationship with a significant other or a family member should read this book. Its sweet and sad and happy all at the same time.
This was such a great read! Really cute and funny moments mixed with heavy, dramatic moments. Each of the characters are so flawed yet so likable. Really enjoyable.
Absolutely incredible book! You need to read this! It's a story that's so relatable and real on so many levels. It let's you escape into this world of passion and pain and love. But it also makes you think about what you're focusing on in your life and makes you just need to be who you really are. The characters are so real and represent so many different facets of human emotion. This is a must read.
Just finished the book. I loved it. I love how the author develops the characters. I especially love that there are strong females who find their way through extremely difficult circumstances. And it is so much fun finding all of the So Cal references and really being able to feel or taste what the author is talking about because it's so familiar.
